The Heart Behind Move Animus
I’m Alyx, a holistic movement coach, strength trainer, and eternal student of the human experience. I created Move Animus to help people reconnect — with their bodies, their breath, their power, and their purpose.
My journey started in the world of competitive sport and evolved through injury, burnout, and deep healing. Along the way, I realised that true transformation isn’t just about reps, routines, or aesthetics — it’s about rhythm, resilience, and reclaiming our innate wisdom.
I’ve trained in everything from functional strength and postural restoration to breathwork, ancestral movement, and nervous system regulation. But what drives me most is helping others move beyond pain, stagnation, or self-doubt — to feel strong, grounded, and alive again.
